The tour guides were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The money we spent was well worth the value considering they transported you in relative comfort, safety and provided a nice lunch and refreshments throughout the entire tour. In addition, we were able to use our bracelets to secure a ride on the tower in Cancun that provided a 360 birds eye view of the peninsula for free. Very knowledgeable guides which made the trip very educational. Both Daniel and Karina are personable and engaging which didn't make it feel like a group of 39 but rather made it feel like a much smaller intimate group with personalized attention. 1. No Vegetarian option for breakfast 2. Too much of a wait in the bus at the pickup location of La Pasteleria 3. Lunch was Super late around 3 pm Cancun time 4. Lunch Buffet was Super good though 5. Guide seemed to rush good spots (main temple) giving us just 5 minutes there and spent a lot of time in other less important spots 6. Excellent tour. Everything was just like the website explained. Tour guides were awesome. Very informative and easy to understand. Thoroughly enjoyed the sites we visited. The bus ride was comfortable. Breakfast on the bus I didn't care for (turkey sandwich at 9am is not for me) but plenty of water (and beer for those who wanted). The guided tour of Xichen Itza was fantastic, our guide Francisco was terrific and his 35yr history of studying the Mayans made for such an indepth and intriguing tour. We could have spent more time at the site exploring all ruins and though seeing the cenote was certainly interesting too. I would have loved to swim and would suggest either allowing participants to sign a safety waiver before swimming or not including it in the trip as the 30mins could have been spent at the ruins. Everything was great!!! The entire package was a good value!! My only complaint and others from my group/ family that attended was the time in Valladolid was way too short. We all would have liked to spend more time there. But otherwise it was a nice time. The snacks and beer were plentiful as well. I'd like people to know that the location you get picked up at is an intermediate location before you get on your final bus. Also, there is only one meal type available (no vegetarian option). Perhaps if you are more specific about the meal, people can plan to bring additional food with them. I would suggest reducing the amount of time in Chichen by 30 min to increase the time in Valladolid for shopping. The coffee was fabulous and the information on point. Too far to travel. Though the experience at Chichen Itza was worthwhile seeing there was too much time discussing Mayan Culture and not enough sight seeing. Better than expected w my mom and teenagers! Great service w breakfast and drinks to keep us cool during the hot and humid weather. We loved our lunch buffet at the restaurant.
