Visit the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, a natural protected area in the area of Cancun, Mexico. The Sian Ka´an Biosphere Reserve is located on the Caribbean Coast of Mexico, near the Mayan Ruins of Tulum, south of Cancun. It is a small ecotourism and education center, an example for sustainable development in sensitive tropical ecosystems. Hike through the jungle and discover the historical site of Muyil, an impressive Mayan temple.
Cross the lagoon by boat while your certified guide will explain more about the reserve's ecosystem and wildlife. You even have the opportunity to swim and float on the freshwater stream through the channels, where you will be amazed by the beautiful different sorts of mangroves and all the other flora and fauna. Itinerary
06:30 am: Pick up at your hotel in Cancun (08:00 am Playa del Carmen, 09:00 am Tulum).
09:30 am: Visit to the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve. Hike through the jungle to the historical site of Muyil, an impressive Mayan temple. Cross the lagoon by boat while your certificate guide will explain you more about the reserve's ecosystem and wildlife. You even have the opportunity to swim through the channels. Make use of your life vest and go with the freshwater stream.
01:30 pm: Snorkeling in the crystal clear waters of Grand Cenote.
03:30 pm: Lunch time in Tulum.
04:00 pm: Transfer back to your hotel.
06:30 pm: Arrival at your hotel in Cancun (05:30 pm Playa del Carmen, 04:30 pm Tulum).
