I booked two tours for our family on our first visit to Cancun and our expectations were surpassed. Our group consisted of 11 family members and we took the Xichen Deluxe, and the Xcaret Plus tours. The transportation from our hotel to both sites was excellent on board very clean and comfortable motor coach buses. Both tours were bilingual, and our tour guides were very knowledgeable explaining the history of each site and surrounding area. At Chichen Itza we had the opportunity to separate into two groups, English and Spanish. Part of our family took the English tour, and the rest took the Spanish tour. Both were excellent. The Chichen Itza tour included a boxed breakfast, and both tours included an awesome buffet lunch. We will definitely return to experience the other available tours. We bought the Xoximilco, Xplor & Xcaret tours package. First of all the savings are amazing purchasing through this site. Secondly the staff was always on time picking us up, everything was very organized. Buses were very comfortable. Tours were amazing, had a great time! We had a wonderful time at all three of the excursions that we experienced. XPlor, Coba, Xel-Ha, and the Cenotes were all great. Our guides and bus drivers were professional and very knowledgeable about the area, the history, and what we needed to do. A special thanks to Pedro and Pedro on our Cenotes trip. We enjoyed the Cenotes the best as it was a relaxing and exciting day. The half day at Xel-Ha was not long enough and the snorkeling wasn't very good. Xel-Ha almost needs to be a full day so that the activities in there can be enjoyed (maybe include one or two different activities in the cost...?) XPlor was amazing! Xel-Ha is a beautiful place; however very crowded, but staff was positioned well to handle crowds quickly. Locker rooms VERY HOT. Xenote tour was a great experience. Only complaint is that receipt stated refreshments would be served during travel and chocolate and sweet breads after every xenote activity. Reality is only one offering of chocolate and sweet breads after one of the 4 xenote adventures. Lunch was nice but drinks disappeared quickly and not replaced. I enjoyed pretty much all the tours. It was very hot at Tulum, you guys should provide us with umbrellas like you did at Chichen Itza. Lastly, we stayed at the hotel Ocean Dream and we had to walk every single day to Fiesta America before and after the tour after being very exhausted. LOOOOOVED the experience! We did a couple packages - Tulum + XelHa and Xplor Fuego. Both were fantastic. My hubby and teenage boys made memories that will last a lifetime. My only critique is in regards to the announcers on the bus to/from the excursions - they all spoke extremely too fast. Even though they did an OK job going back and forth between English and Spanish, they spoke tooooo fast (and sometimes to low). I'm sure they get bored of saying the exact same thing everyday, but they have to remember that this is the first time the patrons on the bus are hearing it. Slow down and pause more. Tours were as described. We enjoyed both Xplor and Xoximilco with friends. Because we were staying at different resorts coming from different directions, almost got placed on a different boat at Xoximilco but it all worked out in the end. Booked Chichén-itza delux, xel-ha, and xplor fuego. Everything was wonderful and no complaint at all. Service was great, staff was on time, and we got to do everything at the theme parks. Antonio was our guide at Chichén-itza. Very funny and super nice! He kept us entertained during the entire bus ride (3 hours+). Directions were clear and they did a good job of making us safe at a strange city. Very satisfied with everything!!!!!
