Description

This combo tour will take you to the imposing archaeological site of Coba to later visit the beautiful natural park Xel-Ha.

Enveloped by the jungle and built surrounded by lagoons, Coba was a major urban center that held economic sway over the Yucatan Peninsula through complex routes and alliances. The ancient citys monumental buildings, its amazing network of roads, its stelae and hieroglyphic texts are only some of the distinctive traits of this splendid Mayan city.

Coba boasts archeological wonders and is home to the tallest Mayan pyramid in the Yucatan region: the Nohoch Mul Pyramid, which rises an impressive 140 feet (42 meters) above the rainforest floor. You will also have the chance to see the Church, the Mayan Ball Game and Ancient Mayan Paints.

Then you will visit Xel-Ha, where you will enjoy a full buffet and snorkel in the worlds most beautiful Natural Aquarium. You will also enjoy many activities like Bicycles, Natural lazy river, Childrens Playground, Chacas Garden, Cliff of courage, Swing Rope, Floating bridge, Trepachanga and more.

My 2 teen kids and I really enjoyed this tour. We had about 90 mins in Coba. Not too short, not too long, perfect length to look around, climb the pyramid and take a bunch of pictures. The guide was informative. Then we got to Xel-Ha at 1:10. we had about 5 hours at the park til pick up time. Enough time to do a lot of activities, swim, eat at buffet. We enjoyed it very much. Bus was very comfortable and pick up was smooth too. I highly recommend this tour. Score:

Visiting both Coba and Xel-Ha in one day was a bit hectic. If we did it over again, we might visit the places separately. However, the tour company did a great job. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and provided a lot of interesting history as we toured Coba. Score:
