How is this different from the private catamaran to Isla Mujeres?
They’re two different experiences. The motor yacht is faster and more versatile, departs from Puerto Cancun Marina, has an air-conditioned cabin, and lets you string together a route across multiple Caribbean destinations at your own pace. Our private catamaran is built specifically for the Isla Mujeres crossing, with a wide deck, net trampolines, and a livelier, more social atmosphere. Choose the yacht for motor-powered flexibility and exclusivity, or the catamaran for the classic Isla Mujeres sailing experience.
What’s the best time of year, and what happens if the weather’s bad?
Cancun stays warm year-round, but from December through April the sea tends to be calmer and the skies clearer. If the Port Captain’s Office closes the port on your departure day due to rough conditions, we’ll reschedule your trip for the nearest available date or find the best alternative to protect your booking.
What’s the difference between a private charter and a shared trip?
On a private charter, the whole boat is exclusively yours: you decide the schedule, the techniques and the breaks, with no sharing space or rod time with strangers. A shared trip is cheaper because the boat is split among several people, but you give up flexibility and privacy.
