We will begin the day in Tulum, the most photogenic Mayan settlement in the world.

What to bring

• Comfortable clothes, comfortable water-resistant walking shoes, a hat, and sunglasses.
• Swimsuit and a change of clothes.
• Biodegradable sunscreen: Use it frequently (access to Xel-Ha is not allowed with sunscreens that are not eco-friendly or biodegradable).
• Official ID (sometimes required as a deposit for equipment).
• Camera (preferably waterproof).
• Bring cash for tips and/or a credit card to purchase extras and souvenirs.

Important additional information

• Pick-Up: When filling out the reservation information, you will indicate your hotel or meeting point, as well as your departure schedule. Once the booking is completed, our team will contact you to confirm the information and have everything ready for the experience.
• Identification: It is mandatory to present an official ID and your reservation voucher at the time of boarding and at the Xel-Ha ticket booths.
• Child policy: Free admission and transportation for children from 0 to 4 years old. If you need or have a baby car seat, you can indicate it in the comments section when making the reservation.
• Children from 5 to 11 years old pay the child rate (you will not have to pay anything extra as the ticket is included in the service price, but an ID must be presented at the park's ticket booths).

FAQ: Tulum & Xel-Ha Private VIP Tour

Do we actually get enough time to enjoy Xel-Ha after visiting Tulum?

By being private, we eliminate the 2-3 hours of picking up passengers at hotels. If we leave early, we can arrive in Tulum at 9:00 AM (before the large groups) and by 11:30 AM you could already be entering Xel-Ha to enjoy approximately 6 full hours of the All-Inclusive plan.  

If we see seaweed (sargassum) in Tulum, will there also be some in Xel-Ha?

Tulum can have seaweed on its beach (the one visible from the cliff), but Xel-Ha is a protected inlet. Thanks to its underground freshwater currents, it is one of the few places that stays crystal-clear almost all the time. It is the "life insurance" of your vacation.  

Can I bring small children?

Of course! It is the ideal tour for families. The child rate applies from 5 to 11 years old. Children from 0 to 4 years old enter the park and the transport for free. If you need or have a baby car seat, you can let us know in the comments section when managing your booking.  

Does the transportation include the return to the hotel or meeting point from Xel-Ha?

Yes. Your driver will agree on a meeting time with you (maximum at 6:00 PM, when the park closes). At that time, your private vehicle will be ready at the gate to take you directly back to your hotel or meeting point with no extra stops.  

What time is recommended to start the private tour to Tulum + Xel-Ha?

Although the tour is private and flexible, we recommend leaving between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM. This allows you to visit Tulum during cooler weather and arrive at Xel-Ha just in time for lunch to maximize your afternoon of activities.
