What to Bring

• Clothing: Swimsuit worn underneath, a towel, and a dry change of clothes.
• Comfortable footwear: Sandals or water shoes with good grip — suitable for walking inside the cave and getting in the water.
• Reef-safe sunscreen and biodegradable bug spray: A must. Both the cenote and the lagoon require you to leave non-biodegradable products behind to avoid contaminating the water (in many cases, no sunscreen at all is allowed before you enter).
• Hat or cap and sunglasses.
• Camera: Preferably waterproof or in a waterproof case.
• Cash: For tips, souvenirs, locker or wetsuit rental, or personal expenses (cards are accepted in many places too).

• Health & safety: For safety reasons, this activity isn't recommended for pregnant women, people with heart conditions or health issues that limit moderate physical activity, or those with severe claustrophobia (the route includes sections inside caverns). A life vest is required, and basic swimming ability is recommended.
• Water temperature: Cenote water is on the cool side. During cooler months, a wetsuit can be rented on-site (optional) for extra comfort.
• Kids policy: Family-friendly from age 4; children must always be supervised by an adult in the water. Child pricing applies for ages 4-10 (confirm at booking).
• Responsible enjoyment: Participation isn't permitted under the influence of alcohol or any substance that could compromise safety in the water.
