Over 360 species from 62 different families of birds inhabit this region permanently, with dozens more making an appearance twice a year as part of their migratory routes. In this tour you will get to trek on hiking trails across the Riviera Maya’s jungle in the company of a seasoned, certified guide that will be able to pinpoint and identify all the colorful discoveries you make during your morning. Toucans, parrots, woodpeckers, hummingbirds and much more await here all year round. And twice a year, during the early winter and the end of the spring dozens of migratory bird species use these jungles as a stop during their yearly winter migrations as they fly south away from the cold north into the always warm tropical jungles of Central and South America.
