Tour Overview

During the tour you will visit the Pirates Canal, where you can swim for a while in refreshing crystalline waters and the Cenote Negro, a place of fantasy and mystery before ending up at the Isla Pájaros pier to appreciate the symphony of hundreds of seabirds

Its name comes from the Mayan word for "place of reeds" The Spanish arrived to this area in the 16th century and the centerpiece Fort of San Felipe was once used as a defense against Caribbean pirates. Bacalar is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in Mexico
